The new European visa waiver is valid for the entire Schengen Area. not just Poland. As a U.S. citizen, you can visit Poland with ETIAS:

- For tourism, business, and short-term study

To apply for ETIAS, your U.S. passport must be valid for at least 3 months after you leave the Schengen Area. The other requirements are a debit or credit card and an email address.
